Description: This project discusses how students can use news articles and videos to increase both their L2 acquisition and their intercultural competence. Incidental acquisition is discussed as well as barriers to such acquisition. For the intercultural competence I discuss how news articles can be used to gain an understanding of deep culture.
Este proyecto discute como estudiantes pueden usar las noticias para aumentar su L2 adquicisón y su competencia intercultural. Discuto adquicisión incidental y las barreras a esta adquicisión. Para competencia intercultural discuto como noticias puede ser usado para obtener un entendimiento de cultura profunda.
